Rules & Regulations

Students are to note that the college seeks to instill values and sense of responsibility in the students. They need to take special note of the following:


  • As per Supreme Court order ragging is strictly prohibited.
  • Creating disturbances inside or outside the class is prohibited.
  • Impersonation during roll-call is strictly prohibited.
  • Damaging college property is strictly prohibited.
  • Restoring to unfair means during examinations is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking in the college premises is banned.


Attendance in 75% of the total number of lectures delivered in each subject is compulsory for students of degree classes failing which they may not be promoted or sent up for C.U. examination A student attending 60% or above but less than 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject may be sent up for University Examination on payment of requisite Non-Collegiate fee.


  • Library cards are issued to every student, against her Fee Book at the beginning of the Session. A student of First year can get two books at a time, that of second year can get three books and third year can get four books at a time. The card is valid for one academic year.
  • A student can keep a book for 15 days. In case of delay in returning book, a student will have to pay a fine of Re.1 per day per book.
  • The Loss of the Card has to be immediately reported to the Librarian. The Fine for loss of card is Rs. 100/- .
  • Students must return their library card and obtain a clearance certificate before appearing for university exam or before seeking T.C
  • For Physical verification students and teachers are asked to return all the books before the summer recess.
